“Are you gifted?”
A question I never thought applied to me.

At school, I was simply “smart.”
No exceptional IQ.
No grades that stood out.

But I was noticed for my different way of seeing things —
my curious eye, my ability to spot patterns,
to sense exactly where things got stuck.

Still, gifted? That seemed unlikely.

Until I became an entrepreneur —
something that just happened, almost by itself.
Because it was the only form that truly fit what I wanted to bring.

I had no clue what entrepreneurship really meant.
So I learned to ask for help.
Invested fortunes in mentorships and coaching.
Did everything I needed to keep walking my path.

From all those mentors I received a new mirror.
One that asked me to let go of my self-judgment,
of the belief that I was “strange,”
or that my voice wasn’t worthy of being heard.

And then the question returned: Are you gifted?

I started to look deeper.
Into a childhood and adolescence full of memories that pointed that way.
And into what giftedness also can be.

Not just performance or IQ.
But an intense way of feeling, thinking, and perceiving.
Asking deep questions where others turn away.
Seeing solutions where none seem to exist.
Wanting to understand everything — truth, systems, patterns, soul.
Refusing to settle for superficiality or roles.
Highly sensitive to atmospheres, words, energy.
Feeling “different” your whole life, without knowing why.
A mind that keeps spinning.
A heart that feels everything deeply.

Until I asked myself:
What if this is simply how my brain, my body, my soul function?
And maybe no label fits that.
Maybe it isn’t one thing — maybe it’s just a lot of awareness.
A lot of intensity. A lot of capacity.
Maybe it’s simply highly conscious.

That word — highly conscious — resonates deeply.
And maybe it’s time to acknowledge that.
So everyone who recognizes themselves in this can finally come home.
