Sometimes transformation doesn’t feel like growth, but like disappearing. 
Recently, I experienced a long time of silence.
A kind of "nothingness".
But what if that was the birth?


Since the end of 2023, when I began using my birth name again — Leonie Joanne Brown (formerly: Joey Brown) — and fully said goodbye to my identity as a “writing coach,” something essential shifted.

For two years, it felt… quiet.
As if I were slowly making my way through a narrow passage.

Now I know: this is what the birth canal feels like — a liminal space, an energetic field where you are no longer who you were, and not quite yet who you are becoming.

In the Birth Canal, everything felt “dark.”
Not because I was off track — but because I was reshaping myself on every level.

And as we all know: birth is no easy journey — especially for the baby that still lives inside each of us.
It’s one of the greatest challenges we face as humans: 
to truly arrive in this life.

Often, we prefer to stay in the dark.
We never fully come “here.”
Into the body.
Into this life.

Why?
Because we’re afraid of the light waiting on the other side.
Afraid of the life that calls us.
Afraid to embody our soul — in both her light and her darkness.
We fear the space where no old identity, no story, no mask protects us anymore.

Leadership is Incarnation.
It is embodiment.
I see it so often in my clients. And I saw it again in my own life too.
A total absence from our own lives.
Busy being “perfect,” pleasing, running past ourselves —
with illness, burn-out symptoms and other signals as a result.

And yet — we are powerful souls.
We feel: it’s time to become the best mother to ourselves.
That is: taking leadership over the life that is truly meant for us.

I now feel with every part of me: my two years in the birth canal were necessary.
To step away from what I knew.
To start tuning in to what’s real:
alignment with what is true.

In a way, I descended a level deeper — so I could carry higher, wider, further. 
A greater story began to grow inside me: a vision, and the desire to share it through a book.

The Birth Field is the first result of that vision.
The first tangible manifestation of the book that lives within me.
(The book will be about Birth, Inner Leadership, and Collective Healing.)

It is the Sufi in me who will write.
It is the creator in me who will anchor the Birth Field.

On August 30, 2025 I celebrated the birth of the Birth Field, surrounded by 31 souls.
From there, my vision will grow — expanding ever wider and deeper. You know,
sometimes our greatest work
is the preparatory work no one sees.

Except you.
Except your Soul.
You work patiently and diligently.
Untill it is time
to be seen and felt by all.
